Great Vietnam video. I'm a literature teacher, and I teach Fallen Angels! I love teaching about Vietnam. Anyway, you might enjoy looking at the Rock & Roll Music Hall of Fame--there are some great lesson plans on Vietnam that include music of that time period--students could go on to make their own video with their own genre of music that connects to their life. I loved this video you posted! I teach American History and have always done a section on music of the Vietnam War. Typically I just play different tracks and discuss, but I liked how this video put it all together in one presentation. This will definitely be something that I will use for the upcoming school year. Thanks for the great idea!
This is a terrific introductory video. Makes me think of the movie Good Morning Vietnam with some of the music choices. :) I really enjoy how it is all tied together nicely.
